Delivery Timeline
How long does it take to ship a car?
Car delivery typically takes between 1 and 7 days, depending on distance and delivery route. The total shipping time is affected by five key factors: mileage, pickup and drop off locations, weather conditions, route congestion, and driver availability.
FMCSA Driving Rules
According to the Federal Motor Carrier Safety Administration (FMCSA), solo drivers are permitted to travel 400 to 500 miles per day (about 8-10 hours of driving time). For expedited shipments, team drivers may cover 800 to 1,000 miles per day.
Standard Service Timeline
Standard service uses solo drivers. To estimate your standard delivery time, divide your total route mileage by 500 miles per day.
Expedited Service Timeline
Expedited service utilizes dual team drivers. To estimate your expedited delivery time, divide your total route mileage by 1,000 miles per day.
